CORE OF CULTURE PROJECTS

Picture
The monk dancers of Nyimalung Monastery in Central Bhutan, surrounding the late Lam Pemala, regarded as Bhutan's greatest scholar, and a great friend of dance.
Recognizing that we are indeed living in a period of unprecedented rapid change and interdependence,
CoC deploys culturally sensitive, action- oriented interventions
to ensure the survival of ancient dance practices.

We believe dancers should be instrumental in saving threatened dance forms.
Who else should understand it so well, so personally, so naturally?
