CoC has extensive knowledge of Japanese dance and martial traditions in the experience of Joseph Houseal and CoC Director of Technology, Gerard Houghton, both of whom lived in Japan studying traditional arts for many years (7 and 15, respectively.) Japanese Noh actors, lead by Mikata Shizuka performed two complete Noh plays on an authentically constructed Noh stage, in London 2009, as part of “A Day of Rare Buddhist Dances
